FEM-minis Exhibition at San Francisco Women Artists
FEM-minis: Small Works, Big Ideas
My painting “In Between” (oil on wood, 5 x 5 inches) is included in FEM-minis, a juried exhibition presented by the Northern California Women’s Caucus for Art at the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery.
The exhibition features 59 works, each created within the compact format of 6 x 6 inches or smaller. Working at this scale encourages artists to distill their ideas into intimate, powerful compositions. The result is an inspiring collection of small works exploring a wide range of themes and artistic approaches.
FEM-minis centers on the expansive concept of FEM, exploring feminist, feminine, fem-presenting, and fem-forward perspectives. The exhibition invites artists to reflect on themes including identity, the lived experience of women and female-identifying people, feminism, social roles, and the freedom to claim space and celebrate individuality.
The exhibition was curated by Christine Cianci and juried by Sawyer Rose, Sandra Yagi, and Madi Toloui.

My Painting: In Between
“In Between” reflects my ongoing interest in capturing quiet transitional moments in nature. In this small atmospheric landscape, shifting light and subtle color create a sense of pause and reflection, inviting the viewer to linger in a moment between changing conditions.
